Cancellation Policy

For cancellations at the customer's request, the following cancellation fees apply:

• 2 days before through the day before the tour: 50% of the booking price
• On the day of the tour: 100% of the booking price

*Non-attendance for reasons on the customer's side, including illness, is also subject to cancellation fees.

*For cancellations due to sudden emergencies, the Company will decide whether a cancellation fee applies after reviewing the circumstances.

*If you have any concerns, please contact us as early as possible.

Sea conditions change by the moment, and there may be times when the tour cannot be safely held due to weather or sea conditions.

If we judge that natural conditions make the tour unsafe, it will be cancelled or its content changed, and no cancellation fee will be charged in that case.

As a rule, we plan to notify you of cancellations the day before; however, in some cases the final decision is made just before the start after checking the day's sea and weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding.

The tour may be cancelled or partially changed in any of the following cases:

• When a weather warning is in effect (heavy rain, flooding, storm, storm surge, tsunami)
• When a lightning advisory has been issued and danger is anticipated
• - Wave height of 2 meters or more
• - Wind speed of 10 meters per second or more
• When sudden deterioration of weather is expected, such as a passing front
• When the guide judges conditions on site to be dangerous, regardless of the forecast
• When the planned course cannot be run due to sea or weather conditions
• When the tour cannot be conducted due to injury or illness of the guide or other unavoidable circumstances

For safety reasons, we may refuse participation in the following cases:

• When a participant is unwell
• When a participant is under the influence of alcohol
• When a participant will not follow the guide's safety warnings or instructions
• When dangerous behavior, or behavior that disrupts other customers or operations, is observed
• When a participant is judged to have a health problem

*Where participation is refused for any of the above reasons attributable to the customer, cancellation fees may apply.

In addition to reviewing your booking details in advance, we may ask you to complete a participation form and confirm your health on the day of the tour, as needed.Participants with health problems will not be able to join the tour.

If any of the following apply to you, please be sure to consult us in advance:

• Persons with pre-existing medical conditions
• Pregnant persons
• Persons with concerns about their physical fitness
• Persons accompanied by children aged 3 or under

Expect your feet to get wet, and please come in clothing and footwear that can get wet.

We recommend sun protection such as a rash guard in summer, and warm clothing such as a jacket in winter.

• An outer layer you don't mind getting wet

Mobile phones, cameras and the like may be brought aboard in a waterproof bag at your own responsibility.

Items that do not fit in the waterproof bag will be stored on board.

We will confirm your preferred meeting point—Taketomi Port, a bicycle rental shop, your accommodation, etc.—by email or message by the day before the tour. Please note that the meeting time may shift slightly depending on tide and weather.

*We may be unable to answer the phone while conducting a tour.

*As a rule, we communicate by email or message.

Our tours are experiences that depend on the natural conditions of the sea.

Unlike standard fixed services, whether a tour goes ahead, and its content, may vary depending on weather, sea conditions, tide levels and safety judgments.

Cancellations at the customer's request are subject to the prescribed cancellation fees.

No cancellation fee applies when a tour is cancelled due to natural conditions or when we judge it unsafe to proceed.

Participation may be refused in cases of illness, being under the influence of alcohol, failure to follow safety instructions, or concerns about health.
